And we're back.

The Big news right now, is the birth of Dana and Dave's baby boy, Logan Alexander. Mother and Child are doing fine. And Grandfather Joe has the kid spoiled right....now

I did something I hadn't done in a while, if ever, saturday night. Hung out in a parking lot, namely the parking lot of the loggieville community center. They have this thing against bringing booze outside. So we all stood outside and drank. It was a good time, saw some people I hadn't seen in a while, and met some new people. by the way, I was there for a wedding party.

Wait a minute, my first two posts are babies and weddings. This ain't good

In the NWF, I am now a member of the 4horsemen along with Gregory Maines, Y2J and Jeff "Xtreme" Hardy as we team up to take on The Jury and the cWo. This week, I take on Doomsday. Should be good, I really like where my character is going.

Ah, that feels better

I know I shoulden't of promised a whole bunch of reviews if I wasn't going to deliver. but.

Lifehouse- Stanley Climbfall: It's ok, but don't run out and
buy it

Swollen Members- Monsters in the Closet: Run, fall, break an arm, leave the hospital and get this album

Crush- S/T- A nice pop-rock album, more good songs then great, and not a terrible one on the album

Books:
Tom Clancy- Red Rabbit: If you've read any of the other Jack Ryan books, and wondered about the past adventures, get this book. It takes a real life event and places some known characters in to it. and it may not be the event your thinking of

Dave Meltzer- Tributes: This is a must have for any wrestling fan. It's a compalotion(sp?) of obits of some of the greatest past wrestling stars, most of whom, sad to say, left us too early. The Owen Hart and Brian Pillman ones are worth the price in and of themselves.

Steve Murphy- Live at 5: This is the behind the camera stories of what has become an 5pm tradition on the east coast, told by a guy who's been there since the beginning. You can't read this book and not think about the people who have crossed the TV screens of maritimers the past 20 years.

DVD:
Triple H- The Game: I really enjoyed the program, except for the part about Triple H's bodybuilding, where they fail to meanton the needles sticking out of his ass. But it was a decent review of the time right around the wedding to Just after Wrestlemania 18. The Extras are good, as you get Triple H's debut match against Buck Zumoff (Who thought he'd get on a DVD?) The Royal Rumble street fight with Mick Foley (That you can watch with commentary from The Coach and Triple H or without) and what could be the best match of all time, Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat from 1989's Wrestlewar. One of those DVD's you don't buy for the dvd, just the extra's.

I have a feeling that the Hulk Still Rules and NWO dvd are going to be around the same, but the extras are so good I ordered them, along with SummerSlam 2002. So expect reviews of them soon

Well, well, well

Like a chip off the old block, Ol' Dok is back. With some random thoughts

-Two commercials I can't stand, one "This is the song that never ends" headache commercials. It was cool the first few times now it's just annoying. Second, the "I'm a bedwetter" ad that seems to run all the time. If you don't want to be called a bedwetter DON'T GO ON TELEVISION TO TALK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!

-The uproar that has been taking place around here about the alpine coolcaps promotion has me absolutly amazed at the stupidity of some people. It has been educational though. SEX sells beer, STOP THE FRICKIN Presses

-btw, in the Moncton Times this morning, they talk about the controversity, what's on the front page. a picture of MIss Fitness canada, couple of pages in. Her in a bikini. Not that I'm complaining

-before you read this next little rant, read Thisl
Now, What has been the issue in hollywood in the past few years? The lack of blacks in films. So there is this film with a total black cast, that's making 300% on the budget, and is getting good reviews. what do some do? Celebrate it. No, silly that would make sence, they pick apart every little thing with it to find something to be offended about. It's things like that that piss me off about these special intrest groups. they never see the good side of anything.

-The new job is going well, but I have said that second book is going to be called "I hate stupid People"

-speaking of books, We're working on the first one, I've got 3 chapters done on the first one, work on it has kind of fallen by the wayside lately, but I hope to get a little more done soon. (Dave ,if you're reading this, email me)

That's pretty much it for now, in the next little bit I 'm going to have reviews on Lifehouse''s new album and the New Swollen Members, a couple of book reviews and a DVD review. I hope.....

Well, Well, Well,

It's been an interesting week and a half since the last update, as I've begun work at ICT in the Aliant dial-up internet help desk department. There's 12 guys in the class, and we all seem to get along. For the first little bit, I thought that I was in a little over my head, but things have leveled out when we were interduced to the programs that we use to help people, I've got another week in the class, then a week on the floor before I start taking calls on my own. So if you have to call Alient Tech, It might be me you're talking too. Scary Thought, aint it :)

Thanks to Shawn for the kind words he had to say about me during his sign off on friday. They are the ones poorer for losing us, not the other way around

American Idol ends this week and I think that it's Kelly's to lose. unless there's a lot of 13 year old girls with auto-dialers. Big Brother is still a couple of weeks away form ending and I think it's a wide open race yet. Survivor starts on the 19th.

Guilty pleasure TV show: Gilmore Girls

After some confusion in the 24/7 thread, I am no longer the NWF Hardcore Champion. Tonight, the results will be posted for my first pay per view, where I meet 4 newcomers, Triple X, Road Dogg, 8-ball and Ironman. I think i've pulled out some of my best stuff this week. The winner of the Match is supposed to become the number 1 contender for the Hardcore Title, now held by Shade. I've also been asked to join forces with Shade in "Chaos", his Stable. I don't really know if I want to join a stable yet. or maybe I do want to know? :) Some will be answered tonight when the results go up.

Well, Well, Well

This day had started out so well. I woke up , went to Physio and was doing very well, in the gym lifting weights and on the treadmill and eurgobike. On the Way home, I thought I'd stop at the station to see what was going on. That started the whole downward spiral.

Going in to see Jim, I was told that my friend and co-worker, Shawn Williston, had been handed his walking papers effective the end of the month. For his part in this , check out his webpage here

After taking this all in, part of it being my boss's statement that he "wasn't going to be using me right now" made me even more concentrated on leaving this sinking ship.

When I get home, there is a message on my machine from ICT/Miramichi offering me an interview for 1:30 this afternoon. I go to the interview and after a few tests, am offered and accept a job with ICT in customer service in Alliant Internet Service provider.

Directly after leaving ICT, I go to the station and after speaking to Shawn and Jim, cleaned out my file cabinet and gave my key to the boss With the words "I'm Leaving Immedietly". Not a handshake, not a thank you for 3 years of service. Just a "It's your choice" as I'm walking out the door. my retort, "No it's not my choice to leave, it's my choice to stay, but your forcing me out" To which he says "no I'm not". The Conversation ended there as I said that he wasen't worth my time and left.

this wasen't just a one day thing. This has been coming for a while. Since I've been hurt, I have recieved nothing but silence and greef. I've been cleared for over 2 weeks and had yet to work a shift. I've been putting resume's into different call centers around the provence at the urging of my Mum and Jessica. Anything to get me out of this dead end job. and that's what it is.

Now a few thank you's:

-To Darren, Shawn and Paddy, people from who I've learned a lot about the radio business, and life in general. No matter how much shit was thrown on us, We always were able to laugh and have a good time. Willie, this could be the best thing to happen to you, it just may take a while to see it. Paddy, keep it running as long as possible, but ICT looks good too.

-To Jim, Someone who always has a kind word and gave me more thumbs up then anyone in the front office. Thank you for those. Guess this means that I can't work election night

-To Anne, Shirley & Jennifer, People may make more money, but I don't think that they ever had more fun that we had. The three of you are always welcome in to my home (and Anne and Jennifer, the beer's cold :) )

-To the ringmaster and the horse he rode in on, Karma's a bitch.

-To my listeners, not that a lot of you will ever read this. Thank you for allowing me to come in to your homes, cars and lives. You never know, maybe at some time, in some way, I'll be back.

There's people (Jason, Val, yes, even Ev) that have allowed me to enjoy most of my time with 790CFAN. Radio can be a funny business. If MBS is ever serious about having a quality radio station and not a big top that is a laughing stock, They can give me a call.

Have a great and safe one, Miramichi

-First off it's too FRICK!N Hot, as of this writing 38 with the humidity, I tried 3 places last night before I found a even comfortable place and that was the basement, where it was nice and cool, but now it's getting muggy down there. This is not fair. (Remind me of this when it's febuary and -40, please)

-If anyone from NBTel is reading this, can you check the Phones at CFAN? I don't think their working

-speaking of not working, I'm not back yet, for what reason, I have no idea. and btw, Check this outI agree with his rant on the radio station. I just work there (or do I?) if you have a problem with anything that's on air there or someone who's on air there
ie:Brad, PHONE them.

-BTW, I didn't have to waste 2bucks and 80min to know that Kung Pow was a piece of Dogcrap. All I needed was the previews and the horrible skits on WWE Heat.

-LET THE BODIES HIT THE.....oops, never mind

-As of this writing, no results for this weeks NWF card. Win or Lose, I'm very happy with what I wrote. Everyone involved is doing a great job, and big ups to Earl, who did a major upgrade to the website that can be viewed here

-A bit of an update about Mozilla It's got some really cool add-in's, namely a built-in pop-up killer and a password manager. Still no crashes, other then when installing.

-A question to those more computer savy then I, How do I remove the Task Scheduler, Display Properties and a CD program from my System tray. If you have any answers e-mail me Here

I go to moncton tommorrow to see the doctor, Jess and Arby's :)

Well...Well....Well.

More Random Thoughts:

-It was an interisting weekend in NWF land, as a 24-7 thread was posted, meaning that Shawn "Gregory Maines" hardcore title reign came to an end..as I made me NWF debut in the thread with 12 hardcore title reigns leading into "Insomnia" on wednesday night where I faced two others in a Three Way Dance for the number one contendership for the Hardcore Title. I lost that match when I got "24/7nd" by Maines. CD Lawrence (Me) got the last laugh as I punked him out later on to take my title back. It all leads to a match with "Dangerous" Danny Dudley at next week's "Insomnia". This is really doing the trick, getting the writing juices flowing.

-Don't waste your time with "Signs" It seems to be one of those movies people either love or hate and I'm the latter, with plot holes a mile wide and Aliens that look like a bad b movie.

-I've been using Mozilla for a while now. It's based on the Netscape browser (Which I've mostly liked). I've only had it crash once and that was when installing. One of the coolest parts of it is allowing you to look at more then one window in a browser window, using Tabs. Long download on a dial-up (Just about an hour) but really worth it. Get it here

***A Couple of days ago, I said I'd post my sample RP for the NWF, It's also my first RP in the Three way dance for next week's card***

(opens in a room, shown is only a chair, with a man looking very upset)

You think that you know. How could you know what I have gone through. The pain that I
feel when people throw one of their own to the gutter, never to be spoken of again, unless
it's thinking of the good old days when that bum on the corner was welcome at the dinner
table. Now he's not even worthy of the fifteen cents that you have in your pocket.
The people that spend thirty dollars on that dinner for two when they know that money
could bring so much to people with so little. The fish egg eating, starbucks drinking
plutocrats who want to move the (air-quotes)displaced people when some big event
comes to town to give the illusion that all is fine in our (sarcastically) perfect world.

(Lawrence becomes more and more frantic as he continues)

I'm sure by now, you think you've figured out who I am. You think that I am just an
angry drug addicted street person who you couldn’t be bothered with. You couldn’t be
more wrong. I was one of you. A rich lawyer, who billed hundreds of dollars an hour, did
the thirty dollar lunches and didn't lift my head when I passed the street people. Then, one
night, on my way home from the office. This drunk teenager comes up to me, claming that
I had stolen his girlfriend. I told him he had the wrong guy, but that didn't matter. He
stabbed me 10 times and left me for dead in the gutter. I laid there, waiting to die with
people, just like I had been passing by with their heads down whispering about what a
disgrace it was to their fine city to have people like me.....ME in the streets.

Then One of the Goddamn street people that I had ignored and hated, came and held my
hand while another got the attention of a police officer that got the ambulance to take me
to the hospital. It was then that I decided that I would make people like I had one time
been pay for their treatment of other people in this world.

(Lawrence calms down in the blink of an eye)

Who am I? I am your worst nightmare...I am you...I am a enforcer of I believe to be right.

I am CD Lawrence.

Let the Payment begin.

(fade to black)
Hello, Friday..

Random Thoughts:

-I've got my first match in the NWF this week in a Three Way dance for a shot at Gregory "Shawn Williston" Mains. I hope he keeps that belt shiney for me.

-For my money, Primetime sports is the best radio show in the country, espically on Monday and Friday, with the roundtable. Bob Macowen and Damien Cox are interesting to listen to at all times and with the addition of John Shannon, John Wells and Gord Kirk among others, there is no better sports talk out there. Check it out on Bell Expressvuor Fan590.com .Between 5-6, it's Bob taking calls, 6-8, it's The Roundtable monday and friday and guests the rest of the week.

-If there is one thing I don't like about Fan590. it's the amount of time spent talking about the CFL. Two words "Who Cares?" If anyone can please explain to me why I should care about this two bit, always on the brink of extintion so-called league, Please drop me a Line and if your reason is "it's Canadian", Don't bother. I don't buy that for anything. Give me sunday NFL football or give me death, hell give me US college basketball over CFL football. As a 23 year old major sports fan, I can not remember sitting down with the express intention of watching a CFL game and the little of it that I do see almost puts me to sleep. This League can't even schedule right, last night a prime example with both Toronto and Hamilton playing at home with a third game on a thursday night. NFL Hall of Fame game is on tommorrow afternoon.

-Saw my first Austin Powers movie the other night and while there was some really funny parts to it. nothing that makes me run out and watch the first two or even turn on TBS which has been running the first two ad nausem for the past month usually 3 in one day. With that said, Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets is out in november and I can't wait.

-I'll be trying out a new Web browser in the next day or two it's called Mozilla. It's a open source alternative to Microsoft Internet Explorer. expect a review soon.

-Wednesday is the latest date of return to the airwaves can't wait..I'm starting to get ancey

That's all for now..LAter

So after being so excited to return to air on the 1st, due to some paper work..that's been pushed back to at least the 6th of august. That really sucks.

RAW was good last night although the the "Red Hot" show that was last week. The Flair- Rock match was ok, but I would love to see them get 30minutes on PPV some time.

I've entered a wrestler in the Nightmare Wrestling Federation. It's an E-wrestling federation that Willie told me about. I'm CD Lawrence. I'll post my Sample RP, that introduces my character. sometime today or tommorrow. The major reason I'm doing this is to get back in to the writing phase. more on that later on......

Well...Well..Well

Back again after a bit. The bottom line of it is there's not a heck of a whole lot going on that I want to talk about. Let's see if I can change that.

Big Brother is back on the air and I am addicted. I watch it when it's on and check out the online updates on Canoe Jam. If they had of been smart, Josh would of been the person to get rid of last night. He just seems to be a disruptive force in the house, but him still there makes for interesting TV.

Another one that seems to have caught my attention is American Idol. Not so much for the performances (Although after dropping the dead weight this week, most of the performances have been great, espically Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini who are blowing the roof off the place) but to see the fighting between judges Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell who is the best non-wrestling heel on television.

Speaking of wrestling, two words "Eric Bischoff", i never thought that that name would ever be spoken in a non-ironic way on WWE television. But when Bischoff showed up during an interview segment feat/ Booker T, it was one of the few thing that could surprise me after (jr) damn near 15 glorious years in this business(/jr). As long as he stays away from the books (and booking) it will turn out fine, for the simple fact that Bischoff is just so goddamn unlikeable, making him the perfect heel. Making RAW into "Nitro" is brilliant, as well. From the movement of the Broadcast Booth to the overall pace of the show, makes it feel different then Smackdown!, which I believe was one of the points of the "Brand Extention"

It's amazing how easy it can be to get someone over in the WWE, a few weeks of "He's Coming" videos, a hell of an entrance and great opponent to debut against so both guys look gangbusters, what do you have? Rey Mysterio Jr.

The "Future of Smackdown" = Edge, Rey Mysterio Jr and John Cena. Add Maven, Kidman, Batista and Jamie Noble to that and Christopher Nowinski ,The Island Boys on RAW, The WWE has a very bright future ahead of it.

That's all for now. Drop me a line here

Well...well...well

After almost a 3 week dark period, I'm back. and I have a really good reason for it this time, really

It all started back on the 24th of June. As most of you know, I've been hobbled lately but we could never understand quite what was happening. After deciding that it was my left knee, my family doctor decided to get me nto physio at the Region 7 hospital. So on this monday, I go for my first physio appointment. after an exam, the therapist decides that I need to see a doctor before she feels comfortable in sending me home. The Orthopedic specialist was too busy so my family doctor says "OK, Admit him" and in I go for the first overnight hospital stay in 4 years.

The Next day, after a CT scan, I'm sitting in my room (on the pediatric floor, If you ever have to be in hospital and get the option of being on peds, Do it, Big TV's and very Quiet) when kind old Dr. Norris comes in and says that they didn't see anything on the CT scan and procedes to do a sensation test with a sharp (needle) that causes scars I still have. a few minites later, Dr. Wally(?) comes in and proceeds to say that there are a couple of disks out of place and I'll be making the trip to moncton via ambulance. SO away we go.

I arrive a couple of hours later and am taken directly to the MRI. If you've never had one before. It's a big, noisy box that they roll you in and out of. You can feel the magnets as they take the pictures of my spine. After this, I'm taken to the ER to wait for a bed in the nuraligy(sp?) ward. When I arrive, It's an old bed that's about 3 inches too short with warped head and footboards and the railings have thier paint chipped off. I think it came from the old Miramichi Hospital.

The Next morning, Dr. Gorman comes in and says that I have 2 disks herinated, (the 3-4 and 4-5) but he thinks that there may be more going on so more tests. So I go for an EMG a test where they take electrodes and shock the nerves to see how long it takes for the responce to come back. after thet they take another electrode and put it in to the muscle to listen to them. It was OK till he started moving the leg witrh the electrode, that hurt like a son of a bitch. everything on those tests comes back normal.

It's now 10 in the morning. I don't see anyone else or do anything for the rest of the day. I begin to get angry, and frustrated at what I feel is the lack of action going on around me. I can lay on my back and watch TV and read at home.

The next morning, Dr. Gorman comes in for rounds and I tear a strip off him for what I feel is the inaction and the fact that I want things done so I can get the heck home. He's not real happy and I personally could not and still don't care if I offended him at all. He like most good doctors I've met are arrogant and I have no problems pulling him down a notch if need be, I felt it was needed. My Mother on the other hand, was not impressed. But it worked. 20 minutes later, he shows up and sends me down for a 2nd MRI which confermes the 1st.

The next day, He tells me that I could do physio instead of going straight into surgery and that I can go back to the MIramichi to do it, as long as I spent a couple of days inpatent to get me started. Agreed and as soon as we get a bed it's back to the 'chi.

After a decent breakfast at McDonalds and a stop home to shave and clean up a bit, it was back to Miramichi Regional Hospital in Peds, where a friend of mine was also admitted with some back problems of her own. It being a long weekend, nothing was going to happen untill tuesday so we camped out and had a great time with Friends and family untill tuesday when I started Physio.

On wednesday, after physio. I was discharged and sent home with a physio appointment 3 times a week, a month off work and a dwindling chance of surgery if Physio continues working as well as it has. Here's hoping.

Take this: now:

You are a very talented and skillful person

Take The "Which WWF Wrestler are you?" Quiz.
Created by Potman

Sunday, June 16, 2002

OK, We've got a lot to get to and a short time to get there...so let's get started

First, an end to hostiliies has been called in the Pearl Jam-Creed wars. Willie is right, we'd argue for years and nothing would be resolved, although I will dispute the asertion that you have to average the first three albums. I think it's only fair to average all studio albums. but It was fun while it lasted.

Now the Steve Austin situation.....Where do I start? Steve walked out on RAW, a few hours before it went live because he had problems with the plans for him that night, reported to be a match with Brock Lesner. This, on top of his major problems with the direction of his character and the company in general that he's talked about many times, including on WWE's own Internet show Byte this! was enough for Austin to book a flight home for him and wife Debra. He booked the tickets in such a way that the WWE would not know that he was gone. The only reason he was found out was that President of WWE talent relations Jim Ross called Austin on his cell phone as he was boarding the plane. It was only then that anyone from WWE knew that Austin was going to "no-show"

This is not the first time that Austin has walked out. The night after Wrestlemania, Austin walked out, again due to creative problems. This caused the rewriting of a major storyline (The Draft) that put the company behind the eight ball at a time when they needed all thier ducks in a row. After two weeks, Austin came back and his absence was chalked up to "burn out"

On wednesday, this was posted on WWE.com:

On March 18, 2002, the day after WrestleMania, without company approval and without notice, Stone Cold Steve Austin walked off the job and failed to appear at WWE’s Raw show in Montreal. Stone Cold Steve Austin was advised by WWE management that this was unprofessional and unacceptable. After a two week hiatus, Austin returned to work.On Monday, June 10, 2002, Stone Cold Steve Austin again failed to appear for the scheduled Raw event in Atlanta, instead choosing to return home to San Antonio without notice and without company approval.Although Steve was unhappy with his character’s creative direction, Steve made the personal and unprofessional decision not to report to work to address his concerns. Therefore, Stone Cold Steve Austin is no longer an active member of WWE’s talent roster.

About 10min after it was posted, the story was making the rounds on Internet sites. to be clear, Steve Williams (Austin's real name) has NOT been released from his contract so he's not going to NWA:TNA or anywhere else. This would not be the last we would hear on the subject.

Last night, on WWE confidential, an exclusive interview was aired with Vince Mcmahan and Jim Ross, who gave the company side and proceeded to bury Austin's character (and his career) by calling him a child and a coward. Vince also stated while he would never say never, he can't see a situation where he could trust Austin to come back.

Not long before Confidential aired a report was posted on the Wrestling Observer site that San antonio Police had been called to Williams house, by Debra, who was sporting some bumps and bruses, saying that Steve had slapped her around and she didn't know what to do because he is "Stone Cold". After a while the announcment was taken down, giving internet watchers some hope that the observer was just taken in by a hoex. A few hours later it was reported by other sites and then confrimed by the Pro Wrestling Torch website.

The reaction online has been swift and almost with one voice, no matter what people think of Austin the wrestler, People are calling this the most dramatic personal and professional freefall that most people have ever seen. Some poeple have compared it to Bret Hart and Montreal..but in my opinion, this is worse for the simple reasen that austin brought this entierely on himself.

As much as I'm tired of Hart talking about Montreal, it's true that Vince screwed Bret, was he right to do so..that's a different rant. But here, Austin left because he didn't like where his job is heading. If you have a problem you do one of two things, buckle down and take it or complain. Ausitn has in the past to Vince and it has brought some of the best storylines in history (both creatively and moneywise). Austin became bitter that the young crew was making it's way up and he was slowing down.

With the troubles that Nash, X-pac and some others have been causing lately, maybe it's time to do like the Aftermath of Montreal, clean out the top of the card and start over from step one..it worked before...Right?

Email's go here

Wednesday, June 12, 2002

Btw, anyone else who wants in on this, email me your comments and I'll post them...no matter who you agree with, but please keep it civil, this is just a disagreement between friends.
Well, well... Allow me to retort

First, read this, then come back.

Nice to see you've returned, first off, Willie, could you have least thrown me a bone and Linked to the Blog? :) now to the important stuff.... me from the previous blog in Italics, willie in bold

While I agree that Scott Stapp comes off as a glory hogging jerk (and can they please just do a performance video), Creed is a successful band that sell an amazing amount of CDs and has received mainstream success that most bands would give their left arm for.

No argument there. Creed is, indeed, exteremely successful. I would even go so far as to say they're the most popular rock band in the world today. However, that doesn't justify the behaviour we've seen them exhibit. Plus, I wouldn't think most bands would want the level of success that Creed has. In many cases, when a band reaches a pinnacle of such heights, they are very uncomfortable being there, with the spotlight on them 24/7. Sure, every band dreams of making it, but seldom really want to make it THAT far...

Bands that don't want to reach the levels of succees that Creed has reached should pack up thier gear and go home. The drive for success is what makes you work for what you want. No one, IMO gets in to Music or anything else for that matter to be second best. If you do, I question your desire.

how dedicated are they? I mean, there aren't many bands who can keep a strong fan base, especially when a band goes three albums into their career without any sort of significant artistic growth. Creed (and a whole lot of other bands) are like cheeseburgers... if you offer the same burger with the same toppings every day for lunch, eventually folks are going to want to try a different restaurant that offers different toppings.

While I do agree, in this 15 min of fame world, that it can be hard to keep a fan base for a band, but it is not as if these guys are just hitting the scene now. and as for artist growth, why...oh why must a band go somewhere find a different higher power and then start spouting lines from books and poems. If a band is enjoying the type of music they put out, and it's saying what they want it to say, why should they change it in order to experience "Artistic Growth". and for the cheeseburger analgies, Why would you want to limit yourself to one type of burger (or band) in the first place, go and sample different types of food (or music) and if you want to come back to the first burger (or band), do it anytime you want..

.if we must drag my boys into it, very well. While Creed has a larger fan base at this moment, what fans Pearl Jam have left are rabidly dedicated. And I'll gladly lay a five on the fact that one decade from now, there will be more Pearl Jam fans than Creed fans. It's one thing to make an album you know fans will enjoy, and it's another completely to offer it up again and again. The only band I can think of that's followed that formula to success over a long period of time is AC/DC. Let's face it, Creed's got a lot of haters now, and the numbers are only growing.

The only reason that I meantioned "your boys" is you do so in the piece that started this (something about thanking eddie for the voice) and the fact that some of the knocks against creed is that they're pearl jam ripoffs. Now, are you saying that Creed does not have for "rabidly dedicated" fans, I would beg to differ on that point. Are they younger? probibly, based on the fact that Creed's hayday is now and not 5 years ago(at least). but just as "PJ" had their fair-weather fans. Creed does too and when the fall comes, I think we'll see Creed sell a smaller amount of records, but still an amount of records that a lot of bands would sell thier souls for. There's an old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", the "Creed Formula" is working so why try something different just for the sake of trying something different. Another very successful artist tried something radically different from what he'd been doing for years and was raiked over the coals both critically and sales wise....who was it? Garth Brooks for the Chris Gains project. and BTW, I'll take that bet.

ONE: Never doubt a radio hit for Pearl Jam. They turned a cover song that was originally supposed to be released only to their fan club members into their biggest radio hit ever. That song was "Last Kiss", and it didn't get on the radio because they sent it to radio. Programmers actually added the song in their own volition, actually seeking it out on the internet or dubbing their own copy (which wasn't easy to do, seeing as how when it broke on radio, it was available only as a vinyl 45, and as I mentioned, only to members of their fan club). Only after this happened was the single properly serviced to radio. Pearl Jam didn't ponder for a moment whether that was going to be a hit, but it was, and a big one, EVEN without a video. Which brings an interesting point: how many bands do you know of that can consistently sell a million copies of each record, even after not appearing in a video since 1992?

I do doubt a radio hit from Pearl Jam, for the very reason that you state, they didn't send thier biggest radio hit to radio. radio had to go out if it's way to get it. The song (which I will agree is a good one) had to be pulled from a fan club album. How many times has Radio done this? how many times has Radio said "you don't want us to play this, but we're going to go through the trouble to play it"? Don't think this is going to happen again, it was a once in a lifetime situation. and please don't try to pass this off as a planned thing by Pearl Jam. If they had thought that "Last Kiss" was going to be as big as it was, it damn sure would have been on an album. but they thought so little of it, they threw it on a fan club freebe. as to your last question, none, Why? two reasons, how many of the top 40 bands from 1992 are still successful? I would guess not many, and tht's just a guess and I stand to be corrected on it. and second, how many artists would want to take that chance of not having something to go on MTV, MTV2, Much, Much More, to promote the album to people outside the core fan base?

TWO: The market may be driven by video play, but (and I'm saddened you didn't know this, considering your profession) 95% of hit songs are broken into the mainstream by radio stations. Think about it: every time a hot new artist comes along, they trace the roots back to some radio station in St. Louis, or Tampa, or wherever, that "broke the single". Besides, if the market were really so driven by video play, do you really think 'Weathered' would have sold so well in light of how incredibly shitty their videos have gotten lately?

First off...I said that the market is driven by Radio and (even more so) video play. I think we'e going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I will allow that hit 'artists" can be broken to radio, but as soon as they become successful artists, they run to MTV or Much to break their songs. but again I'll allow that's more "Top 40/pop" artists then "Rock". and yes, while the "weathered" video's are a little hard to look at as Stapp's Jesus complex, comes out, that didn't stop MTV/Much from playing 2 out of the 3 ad nausem. (Bullets being the exception). Also, 'My Sacrifice" was helped by the really cool WWF Desire Video's at a time when ratings were a bit highter then they are now.

Creed's first two albums have sold a combined 12 million copies in the U.S. (commonly referred to as the centre of popularity gauging when it comes to record sales). Pearl Jam's first two albums have sold a combined 18 million copies. I'll give you the fact that Creed is bigger than Pearl Jam ARE, but they most certainly aren't bigger than Pearl Jam WERE.

Here's some more math, from riaa.org Pearl Jam has had 6 studio albums that have sold aprox 26 million which comes out to an average of 4.3 million in sales. Creed has has 3 studio albums which have sold 20million making an average of 6.6

Pearl Jam:
Live on two Legs- Platnum

Binaural- Gold (gave them credit for 1million to make the math a bit easier and to also address some of the Bootlegs sales)

Vs.- 7xplatnum

Ten- 11xplatnum

No code- platnum

Vitalogy-5xplatnum

26/6=4.3

Creed:

Weathered- 5xplatnum

Humen Clay-10xplatnum

My own prison-5xplatnum

20/3=6.6

Be careful when your working with numbers, willie, you may not like what they say

I look forward to the rebuttle....

OK..now that that's out of my system...

RAW last night, was a good show. Something that can be taken as surprising, seeing that 25% of the show had to be rewritten on the fly with the departure of Steve Austin, who walked out yesterday afternoon after being asked to put over Brock Lesner. He felt that he would be hurt by doing such a "Hot-shotted" angle. This caused the show we saw, and if this is what they do with Austin home, Steve get cumfy on the couch, cause they don't need ya.

The reuniting of the ownership situation was going to happen anyway, so why hold off on it. Maybe the rumors that Eric Bischoff is on his way in to take over (on-air) maybe as a member of the nWo, will breath some life in the ratings.

and speaking of the nWo, I'm happy with the turfing of Booker T, the fans want him as a face, let him be a face and not doing it last night was delaying the enivtable. HBK's back looked good with him nearly taking T's head off with that sweet chin music.

FOr the first time in a while, I watched all of RAW, although it was the late replay I saw, for the first time in a while, I can't wait for Smackdown!, or atleast to see the spoilers.

LAter,
Tuesday, yep..It's tuesday

First off.. note to willie: Stick with the PV's my friend, A day in the life of: came off as spiteful and not funny at all. While I agree that Scott Stapp does come off as a glory hogging jerk (and can they please just do a performance video), Creed is a successful band that sell an amazing amount of CD's and has recieved mainstream success that most bands would give thier left arm for. While you may see them as "Pearl Jam Light", I would go on to say that Creed would have a larger fan base. That dosen't make them better then "Pearl Jam"..dosen't make them any worse either. and I'm sure that there will be some rebuttle, but the fact is Creed is a big name right now. Maybe when a new Pearl Jam album comes out, that will change, but with this being a market seemingly driven by radio and (even more so) video play, and Pearl Jam's resistence to doing videos and my doubt's that there will be a major radio hit , I doubt it. Willie, enjoy their music, but don't get bitter that Creed is bigger then they are and were

And before anyone else asks..I'm not a huge Creed fan..I own 2 albums (Human Clay and Weathered) but it's not something I play on many occasions

Music is a very personal thing. It can not be form-fitted. Everyone's tastes are different. Mine run from a Celtic, east coast folk sound (Great big sea, Natalie Macmaster, The Corrs) to pop-rock (Michelle Branch, Barenaked Ladies) to hip-hop (Dr. Dre, Eminem, Naughty By Nature). Basically, everything but Dance and Heavy Hard rock. That last one puts me at odds with friends and co-workers. To me, it's screaming Guitars and long haired tattooed pierced guys screaming about anything they can think of. Yes, some of it can be good in the right situation, but I don't enjoy it enough to buy cd's or Downoad it. (If you look at the Kick Arse Archives, there isn't much Hard rock, Heavy Metal on the CD's) I don't listen to music to think so bands that have a real big "Message" (ie: Rage against the Machine and the like) are out. When I listen to music, I want a good beat, something that I can sing along with, nod my head too and in the right situation, hit the dance floor. To some people, I'm what's wrong with the music industry.

When you come right down to it, music is entertainment. People can take what they want from it. As I'm writing this, Much Mega Hits is on and in the past little bit, they've played The Tragically Hip, Pink and Bow Wow, a mix that I'm very happy with.

Leaked from Miramichi City hall:

The City of Miramichi transportation and public works department wants to advise the motoring public that the King George Highway will be closed for repairs effective June 10/2002. This is to repair the 562,124,102 potholes between the Night Owl Building and Northumberland Square. Residents who are trying to get from the former town of Newcastle to the former village of Douglastown are formally screwed and are advised to learn how to swim. The City of Miramichi will do it's best to somehow pin the blame for this major screw-up on the people in Nelson. any complaints can be sent here
It's Sunday, Sunday, it's really really Sunday

Tonight my First "Stump the Dok", kind of. Dave Lavoie dropped me a long note asking me what I thought of "Tough Enough 2 " where the two women left, Jackie and Linda, were chosen over the two guys, Jake and Kenny and somehow this has become some sort of problem. Why? because in the First "Tough Enough" there was 1 male and one female WWE contract, this time around it was assumed that this was the case, although in one of the early episodes of "TE2" it is said that there was just 2 contracts. That being said, I think they made the right choices, Linda has a different look for a WWE "Diva" and can wrestle while Jackie is just..that..damn...hot that she will never have to step in the ring and will sell a lot of Diva calenders and videos. Jake on the other hand has that look that Vince goes to bed dreaming about at night, but in the ring was TERRIBLE!! while Kenny made everyone around him look good but I believe fell victom to the "He's too small" trap, espically with Jamie Knoble, and Rey Mystero Jr.~ debuting or on the way. Let me say, however that the TE1 crew was head and shoulders abouve this crew, in the end of TE2, they're doing basics, in TE1, they're doing moonsaults. It's all leading to a "Tough Enough" Fued on Smackdown! with Chris Harvard and other TE people coming to take out thier frustrations on Maven, although that might have got pushed back due to Maven's broken leg.

and may i also say that I am very happy to see Shawn Micheals back, although I missed it live. I was watching RAW and decided to shut off the TV just before Kevin Nash came out. and after I found out what happened, I knew that I had missed a markout moment. When everyone else were Bret Hart fans, I was the HBK fan, espically during the Diesel/HBK "Two dudes with attitudes" period. While Bret Hart has become one of many "Bitter Old Wrestlers", HBK got his head on straight and I'm happy for it. Now of they would just get rid of the "Black and White" nWo and bring back the "Red and Black" I"d be happy.

Blogger Really needs to add a spellcheck to their program :)

For a comprehensive list of Wrestlers, check out Earl's Wrestling page. For the most part, I agree with him. It's a good read. I wonder who would win a wrestling trivia contest.....hmmmmmm...

Happy Tuesday

So went to see "The Sum of all Fears" last night, not expecting a good movie. I've read the book and, for the most part liked it (Like a lot of Tom Clancy's books, the military detailing gets a little tedious, more on that a little later) Two and a half hours later, Myself, Willie and Gully left the theatre awestruck. You can tell how much Willie enjoys a movie by the number of words he speaks, this time, 1 ("popcorn") This is a defenate must see for everybody. One of the problems that I have with the movie is the fact that I have a hard time buying Ben Afalac (I know it's spelled wrong, Carrie) as Jack Ryan, as the Ryan I know from reading the books is married, has 3 kids and is older then the Ryan that Afalac plays. One real good peice of casting was Lief Schriber as John Clark. I'm hoping that they'll make movies of the Clark Books, Without Remorse and Rainbow Six. 8/10

Now for the Top 5 Tom Clancy Books:

  • The Before meantioned Rainbow Six, Where Clark and Ding are sent to England, to run a secret elite NATO anti-terrorism force called Rainbow. Clark is the leader (the "6") while Domingo Chavez, Clark's protge (and new son in law) is the leader of one of the two teams of Rainbow. Some of the members of the team have been meantioned in other books, but none as real major characters. Short on the detailed military hardware descriptions, but long on counter-terrorism strategy and what could happen when the terror hits close to home.

  • Without Remorse, the first Clark book, gives us the background on the man who Clark was before he was CIA Agent "John Clark" A look at a Vietnam Veteran diver who's first wife has died in a random car accident, also killing his unborn child. After some time, he's traveling to take a weekend on the bay, picking a beautiful young hitchchiker. After spending some time together, they have fallen in love and she tells "Clark" that she is a drug addicted former prostitute who escaped from her pimp. 'Clark takes this in and decides that He still loves her and, with the help of two doctors that they met after they had boat troubles on his island, try to clean her up. It is an amazing read and shows that Clancy not only knows battle but also knows people and how to craft thier stories.

  • Debt of Honor is one that must be read to get jist of the rest of the series, It takes place 2 years after 'The Sum of all Fears", Ryan has retired from goverment service but is asked by the president to come back as his national security adviser. The Cold war is over but that dosen't mean that all is well in the world but Ryan soon learns that the old rules no longer apply. along with foregn policy problems, there are also domestic problems for the President Durling, and they cause him to dump his Vice- president in favor of Jack Ryan, who's encouraged by the fact that after this he's done in public service. The Congress confrms Ryan's appointment and then..well I don't want to spoil it but let's just say it leads in to...

  • Executive Orders, where the actions at the end of "Debt", directly affect Ryan and is family and puts the entire United States in the clasp of not one, but two crises as well as a political standstill. I can't really go in to the Plot or I'll give away the ending to "Debt" but it's worth the hefty read (over 1000 pages)

  • Patriot Games, a little farther back in the ryan-verce, it's the subject of the movie that starred Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan, He's a history professer at the US Navel Academy on vacation in London with his wife and daughter, when they get in the middle of a assassination attempt by the Ulster liberanation army on a member of the British Royal Company. His marine training kicks in and he prevents the deaths of the Prince and Princess of Wales and thier newborn child, The CIA head, General James Greer sees this as the chance to get Ryan in to the agency. The book goes off on two different stories, both in the name of Patriotism

Was able to pick up the Harry Potter video on the day it came out and enden up watching it 2 1/2 times in one day. it was that good I didn't mind (although I must say it's not as impressive as it is on the big screen) can't wait for the next one it will be out November 15/2002 for the most up to date details go here

    Hello once again, folks

I know it's been a while but I've kind of been out of action the past week with a strained muscle in my back that landed me flat out for a week. On a related topic, Demarall ROCKS!!
So Needless to say, I've spent most of my time, watching daytime television while in a haze from pain killers and muscle relaxers. It's back to work tommorrow from 7-2 and then sunday from 7-1, so join me then. more Later

It's like so Totally Thursday :)

First off, those of you Lucky enough to have a dish or digital cable, and are wrestling fans should make it a point to be watching ESPN Classic on wednesday evenings. They get the classic wrestling. Some weeks it the old AWA, but some weeks we get really lucky and get USWA tapes from Tennissee and Texas from the 89-94 era. Classic Jerry Lawler, Kerry Von Erich, Tojo Yamamoto's Devistation Inc. great stuff..check it out.

It's Judgement day weekend and I can already see how this buyrate could suffer a little. This sunday, you have the opening weekend of Star Wars, Episode 2, The Ending of Survivor and the big reunion show, as well as the Cosby Show reunion. Two out of those three things are things that are pointed in the same demo as WWE (and the third could have a argument made) With the ratings droping heading in to the summer, It's not looking good for the WWE.

    CD reviews:

Vanessa Carleton- be not nobody Off the strength of the "Epic" single "A thousand miles", this 21 year old former ballerina makes a jump in to the music world. She has siad in a previous interview that music was just something she did to take the pressure off. Well, if this album gets the success it deserves, she's going to have to find another hobby. A very orchestral album, starting with the single-ready "Ordinary day" to the ending "Twilight", The Piano driven tunes set her apart from the midriff bearing pop stars that glutted the pop scene not so long ago. Carlton also flexes her writing muscles on this album, writing all the songs with the exception of 'Paint It Black" written by Michael Phillip Jagger and Keith Richards, whoever they are :). This album is for people who don't want pop but are not in to long haired millionares screaming about how conflicted they are. 7/10

Velvet Empire-self-titled Yes, this is the popstars 2:boy meets girl band. I know alot of people have a problem with the whole concept of "building a band" I subscribe to the fact that I could care less how long a band has been together or if they had met at birth or in a label's office. To me it's the music that comes from the band that matters. This album, produced by Justin Grey, can be described as "hip-pop" in other words, don't come here looking for any deep messages or ideas on how to get world peace. It's a fun album, that you can put in a stereo and smile through. It's obvious that the band had some say in the album as most of the songs seem to fit like a glove. Janelle is the soul of the group, with a deep sultry sound. Lacey, brings a sweetness to balance it out, although she seems to get lost on some of the tracks. Alex gives the group a bit of attitude while Ryan has a set of pipes that you would never guess looking at him. Why, oh why Justin is there I have no idea. He sticks out like a sore thumb on most of these tracks. It's almost as if he was there so they could have the 'We thought you could make it, but you're not cutting it so goodbye" episode for Television, but they didn't do it. A fun little album, with the lead single 'Frontin' on me" and the song that should of been "Wha, Wha, What" (that songs hook is so infectious it's almost criminal) Put it in press play and forget what a crappy world we live in for a while. 5/10

Michelle Branch- The Spirit Room This review could be done in one word, WOW. This is an amazing album, with a pop rock sound that is absolutley beyond words. The first two singles "Everywhere" and "All you wanted" are everything that I, as a listener, want, catchy tune, great lyrics. it's something that..is almost impossible to be put into words. Let me just say this, since I bought this album, it has left my stereo twice, once to take to the radio station and again tonight, to listen to while I was typing this out. Every song on this album could be a single, with "You Set Me Free" set to appear in (or at least on the soundtrack and in the theatre trailer for) the new dreamworks movie "Sprit". If you don't have this album, RUN, do not walk to your local record store and buy it 9/10...ah hell 10/10

I know I said that I was going to do Natalie Macmaster's new one tonight as well, but I haven't had much chance to liston to it yet but instead you get the E-bay special:

Robert Ellis Orrall- Flying Colors This album came out in 1993, with one big single behind it "Boom it was over", couple more moderate singles after that then nothing. I had the album on tape and loved it, a nice country album (I was nothing but a country fan at the time, this was before I went to college and was educated in the ways of other music) that was fun to listen to and had some nice songs on it. couple of weeks ago, I get to thinking, I wonder if I still have the tape. can't find it so to E-bay I go, $5 later, it's on the way. I get it. nothing's changed, a nice unoffenceive album that's got some nice songs. (btw, If your wondering what a love song is supposed to sound like "I'm Learning As You Go" is a great place to start) 4/10

Wow, that was a little longer then I was planning on..but it got the job done. Working all weekend, but I'll see if I can get something on this weekend untill then reach me here with anything you want to say about these reviews or your "Stump The Dok" questions. LAter

    Wednesday, May 15, 2002

    Well....Sorry, It's been a while

I must start out with apoligies to Willie, as I'm not going to be able to make the "Party of the year" in F-city as it's the "2nd annual Willie Pub crawl" Last years was a good time and I'm sure this will be even better. Just remember to keep enough for bail

Bit of an update on the last entry, one of the guys that I saw In Sunny Corner at the ACW show, goes by the name of Bobby Rude. Apparently, as I learned in one of the message boards I frequent, he attended the most recent WWE tryout camp and impressed them greatly. Rumor is that he may be one of the few to get a deal out of this. Maybe, I should go to these things more often. Last time I went to a indy show, I had the pleasure to see the "Suicide Blonds" who later went on to become Edge and Christian. BTW, ACW's next show locally is June 22 in Sunny Corner, then they're looking for a show either at the Newcastle Lions Club or at the Civic Center.

Once again, can't talk about RAW, I didn't see it. I watched the first segment and then tuned out. But by the looks of the ratings, at least I made the effort, as the numbers continue the downward spiral. Look for the "Hulkamania 2k2" run to come to an end this sunday at "Judgement Day" Just added to the lineup, The Hardly's (as in "Who gives a flying fuck? Hardly anyone" against "The Next big thing that the WWE is going to screw up for some piss-ant reason even though he shits dollar signs" BROCK~ Lesner and Paul "If he had of sold out, ECW would still be in business" Heyman.

In Video news, I can't wait for the Harry Potter to come out on video (espically since it looks like there wont be a new book till next year) and will be spending some of my pittance of a paycheck on May 30 (it's out on the 28th, so I guess I can wait the 2 days, unless someone wants to be nice enough to purchase it for me as a gift......Didn't think so) Also Amazon.com is accepting pre-orders for the first "Lord of the Rings" Movie "The Fellowship of the Ring" for release on August 6. I didn't see it in theatre, but it might be worth a rental just to see what everyone is talking about.

That's it for tonight, Tommorrow, I think I'll go even further into "Willie-land" and do some record reviews. Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, Natalie MacMaster and Velvet Empire for sure...MAybe more. Until then.. .Buy his book!!

    Good saturday all

I should say that I had this all typed up last night, but it got lost in the Cyber-netherworld so here we go again

It hasen't been a busy week, but not all that quiet either. Wednesday, Willie and I checked out some wrestling action at the Sunny Corner arena. It was different for a night out and if ACW is anywhere near you, it's def worth a check out. and yes, as I'm sure willie will say in his next update, I did get my punk card pulled a few times, but these guys are professionals, it's nothing personal...Right?

When I came home, I gat a call from Jessica, telling me she was on her way home because of the death of Joe Macdonald, grandfather of our friend, Tara. Due to work, I was unable to go to the funeral, so I will pay my respects here and send my sympathy to her and her family at this time.

Thursday was spent "helping" Jess with one of her projects. I don't know how much help I was, but it was interesting. I haven't worked with that many numbers since high school. Then we met up with Gully and went to play some of the worst pool that has ever been played in North America. Not much on the go for this weekend. Maybe a second run at Spider-man

On the Wrestling front, not much to talk about as I didn't see Smackdown. One thing I'm looking to do here is "stump the Dok" send me your wrestling related question (most of you have my e-mail or just use the Guestbook at Dok's Office. I'll do my best to answer once I get a few. Come on people, Do your worst :)

    Even more Housecleaning at WWE

On WWE.com, It's been announced that Curt Hening(Mr. Perfect) has been released from his contract. Apparently, He was one of the major partiers on the UK Tour and part of it was on the flight home, when Hening, got on Brock Lesner's nerves enough to make Lesner snap and tackle Hening in to the flight door. If it had of opened, We woulden't have talked about a contract, because the plane would have crashed and killed all aboard
Another one of the revelelers was apparently Dustin Runnels (Goldust), who at this writing is not expected to be released.

    From WWE.com:

    Hall, WWE part ways

World Wrestling Entertainment senior vice president for talent relations Jim Ross announced today that WWE and Scott Hall have mutually agreed to end their contractual relationship. WWE wishes Hall the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Mutually agree, yeah right. anyway apparently what brings this on was Hall's partying on the weekend when the WWE was in Europe on the Insorrexton tour. For those that dont know, Scott Hall is an alcaholic who has been having problems for years. As a matter of fact, the reason that Hall (then Razor Ramon) left the WWF the first time was the failing of a drug test. It became so much of a problem that his marraige broke up (since remarried to the same women) and became a TV angle in the old WCW. When he returned to the WWF, it was with the understanding that his abuse ws under control. After drinking on his first night back, he did an interview that said that he had learned his lesson. apparently he didn't.

    From 1Wrestling.com:

Hall was partying in "Animal House" like fashion over the weekend. It got so bad that he actually fell asleep backstage at the UK PPV, during the show. I was told that the decision to let him go was 90% made yesterday morning, and when Hall showed up at TV at less than 100%, it sealed the deal.

Hall started out as a teammate with Dan Spivey in the Starship America team in the Florida indy's soon moving to the AWA as Big Scott Hall. He also spent some time in the NWA/WCW as The Diamond Studd, a character that is the forrunner to the highly successful "Razor Ramon" character that he would protray later on. Ramon became a multi-time IC champ and mainevented both "Survivor Series" and "Royal Rumble" in his first 4 months with the company, the latter in a great match with Bret Hart for the WWF Championship. Drugs began to take thier toll, and 2 days after being announced to face "Goldust" at Wrestlemania 12, was pulled from the card and suspended. After making one more WWF appearence, getting squashed by Vader at an "In Your House", Hall showed up On WCW Nitro on Memorial day, to begin the biggest angle that WCW ever had, The NWO.

With Kevin Nash, and Hulk Hogan and others, The nWo ran over WCW for years, with one problem. The angle never came to it's end (WCW defeating and ending the nWo) With the company on Crouse Control, It began to lose money and after a Divorce, suspensions and threatened firings, finally Hall hit rock bottom.

After getting remarried and reconnciling with his kids, Hall seemed to be on the straight and narrow. But that's just what seemed to happen. Hall got his chance with the Rebirth of the nWo in the WWF. After one too many slips, the WWE finally had enough and earlier today, released him.

You can add Scott Hall to the List that includes Jake Roberts, Ted Dibiase and others, people who were talented performers but the road was thier downfall. The Drugs, alcohol and life of the road. Just turns out, it's too much for them. With Jarrett's NWA and the XWF, Hall will get another shot, but should he have one or should he help himself.

    Happy Tuesday ladies and germs.
After "getting the F out" on RAW last night, Maybe they should of used it to help Hogan get the Motorcycle going. Truly a wrestlecrap moment.
Have you noticed that in the WWF...I mean WWE..any woman who is fully dressed is protrayed as a heel becouse everyone knows that all women just want to run around half naked....not that there's anything wrong with that :)
